Cultivating Farmers has a particular focus on serving farmers and ranchers who have been underrepresented and historically marginalized in agriculture, and who identify as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color) and/or armed forces Veterans. The program’s goal is to provide technical assistance and support to underserved and beginning farmers and ranchers in Los Angeles and neighboring counties.

LA Foodscapes: Conversations at the Intersection of Food, People, and the Land

An event series designed to catalyze transformative action within LA's diverse food ecosystem. As a backbone organization, LAFPC collaborates with a multitude of sector organizations on various topics that contribute to food equity. We aim to bridge community-based organizations with elected offices, fostering meaningful conversations that not only provoke thought but also lead to actionable next steps.

Working groups are action-driven cross-sector teams that will be key in informing the next updated Good Food for All agenda. They will work towards advancing the policies, initiatives, and campaigns outlined in the regional charter.
