What Is The Good Food Movement?

The Los Angeles Food Policy Council works to ensure food is healthy, affordable, fair and sustainable for all.

Working groups are action-driven cross-sector teams that will be key in informing the next updated Good Food for All agenda. They will work towards advancing the policies, initiatives, and campaigns outlined in the regional charter.

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

The Los Angeles Food Policy Council (LAFPC) works to ensure food is healthy, affordable, fair and sustainable for all.

We serve as the backbone organization for a network of over 400 organizations and agencies working for healthy, sustainable and fair food.

Growing from the collective impact model, we cultivate a diverse network of change makers from across our food system, from farm to fork and beyond, through cross-sector groups, network events and other civic engagement activities.

As a collective impact organization, we are stronger in numbers. To amplify the incredible people power of those passionate about the Good Food Movement, we cultivate an ecosystem approach to help engage our diverse food sector.
