SPECIAL PROJECTS MANAGER – currently on sabbatical 

As the Special Projects Manager for the Los Angeles Food Policy Council, Haan-Fawn Chau assists with organizational development, communications, research, and policy analysis.  She has over twelve years of leadership experience in the nonprofit sector, plus a background in environmental issues and urban planning. Haan-Fawn previously worked for the ocean conservation group Heal the Bay, where she specialized in watershed education, public outreach, programs management and event planning, and later authored a report on green infrastructure and low impact development for the City of Los Angeles Board of Public Works. Haan-Fawn earned her undergraduate degree in earth & environmental science from Wesleyan University and holds a master’s degree in urban planning from UCLA.
